I submitted this on arXiv and then immediately got the flu, but now that I can sit upright again, my first single (!?) author paper was accepted: arxiv.org/abs/2609.16911 TLDR: we might be doing ourselves dirty by focusing on very active stars to find plasma emission at low frequencies (<<1GHz)

The future of low frequency radio astronomy is space! It is only in space that we can unlock the last part of the electromagnetic spectrum that has yet to be explored. I am fortunate to play a minor part in this team lead by Joe Lazio for the MegaWave Radio Surveyor space mission.

I find it amusing that I am now teaching Introduction to Programming for Astronomy and Astrophysics with Python at the University of Amsterdam... When I was never taught how to program in my uni degree (had to entirely self-learn). May God have mercy on the students.
