Back in this bar and it's Linkin Park tonight. Fuck me we're all getting old.
Hilarious to walk into what should be a very Old Man alehouse in Whitby and it's playing Limp Bizkit... And then I realise, I'm the Old Man.

Been doing a lot of Big Walking. But no Big Walk, yet. Looking forward to it! (Does anyone want to go on a Big Walk with me, next week?)
Idly scrolling and I see a clip of Pat Smear talking about Nirvana, and I remember: oh, I spoke to him too. In 2013, ooof. Here's that piece (pleasant surprise that it's still live) - on In Utero, Foo Fighters, David Bowie and more. www.clashmusic.com/features/nir...

Very brief jog around a few Whitby pubs I wanted to check out this afternoon. Waiting Room, Esk Vaults, Beer o'clock and Arch & Abbey. All decent, good beers on, nice vibes. I welcome any further recommendations from folks who know their boozers.

If this is the actual art being used for the 40th anniversary release of The Transformers: The Movie, disappointed doesn't do it justice. Looks like an AI nightmare. This isn't how these characters really look in the film. It's a strange selection too. Crap, crap, crap.
Why would anyone want to take away the One Good Thing about Soho Pints?

Aliens in VR? There's some of that in Aliens: The Video Games. Read about Rogue Incursion, In Utero and Descent, with new and exclusive interviews. Pre-order wherever you buy your books.

Came all the way to the Whitby Funland and the Daytona machine doesn't work.
He hit it hard in Outer Heaven and was never the same afterwards. Shame.
Of all the Sonic the Hedgehog clones that came out in the 90s, this little guy is the only one who could actually compete with him Sparkster, I miss ya buddy
I've enjoyed seeing your TFN snaps. One day. Maybe. (There's *always* a clash.)
Despite what some corners of the internet may tell you, there was never an Operation: Aliens animated series in the works. The kids-focused toy line did get a tie-in LCD game from Tiger. Well, mostly. Read about it in Aliens: The Video Games. Pre-order now: www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/Aliens-The-V...
York is booked. Two days in the city. Son number one wants to see some history. As do I, after a fashion. (By which I mean I'll be visiting Sore Thumb.)
Say I was in York for two days, with the family. What do I absolutely need to see / do? All recommendations very welcomed as I have never been. Thanks!

Off to Nick Cave in a bit. A pair of tickets for today cost me over £150 last Sept. If you wanted a ticket now, they're on the official reseller platform for as little as £22. Absolute racket.
Tfw it's a day off but then you remember there's actually work you need to do before you can go out and have fun.
