Came all the way to the Whitby Funland and the Daytona machine doesn't work.
He hit it hard in Outer Heaven and was never the same afterwards. Shame.
Of all the Sonic the Hedgehog clones that came out in the 90s, this little guy is the only one who could actually compete with him Sparkster, I miss ya buddy
I've enjoyed seeing your TFN snaps. One day. Maybe. (There's *always* a clash.)
Despite what some corners of the internet may tell you, there was never an Operation: Aliens animated series in the works. The kids-focused toy line did get a tie-in LCD game from Tiger. Well, mostly. Read about it in Aliens: The Video Games. Pre-order now: www.pen-and-sword.co.uk/Aliens-The-V...
York is booked. Two days in the city. Son number one wants to see some history. As do I, after a fashion. (By which I mean I'll be visiting Sore Thumb.)
Say I was in York for two days, with the family. What do I absolutely need to see / do? All recommendations very welcomed as I have never been. Thanks!

Off to Nick Cave in a bit. A pair of tickets for today cost me over £150 last Sept. If you wanted a ticket now, they're on the official reseller platform for as little as £22. Absolute racket.
Tfw it's a day off but then you remember there's actually work you need to do before you can go out and have fun.
LILY ALLEN SNUBBED! (actually we have no idea if Lily Allen was 'snubbed')

Watched that new Spider-Man. Some non-spoilery thoughts. Didn't think much of the villain of the piece. Motivations/actions. Weak. Florence Pugh should do more comedy. Too much video game-y *stuff*. Some scenes were straight out of the Insomniac games. Jon Bernthal should do less comedy.
Speaking as someone who's never used AI tools in the research and writing of their books, it's incredibly easy to do. Just... do what you used to do. Read stuff. Seek out the original sources. It really doesn't take that long - and while it's LONGER than just seeing a summary, it feels better!
Surely the solution here is just *don't use AI tools* for your writing and research and continue to do your writing and research in ALL the ways you were doing it before you started using AI instead of doing the work??
Left school 30 years ago, this summer. Really thought I'd be an adult by now.
Hydration Break at a Pre-Season Friendly? Ban this sick filth.
The third printing of my book will be available Sept 14th, for those interested in reading a very personal, offbeat, pop-culture-filled, growing-up-in-the-70s-and-80s, mega-80s-and-90s-magazine-making, funny-anecdote-filled account of the history of gaming.

As great as the current gig is, it makes me sad that I don't (have a professional reason to) do Gamescom anymore. My favourite of the Big Events, cos it never feels Big. Also, I love Cologne as a city to just hang around in. Suppose I could go as a punter but, gross.

What if I've not exercised in *a while* but chose to do 10km on the bike this morning? What then? Only pain, it turns out.
Lemmings. Populus. Another World/Out of This World. Wipeout?
what's everyone else's fab examples of once massively popular and influential landmark titles in especially western games from back in the day that have just been forgotten and abandoned completely now. mine is black and white
