A great proposal. Though to restore trust communities, would we go full open source - e.g. @trafficmonitor.ai and data shared publicly? Options of 'data sovereignty' - anything captured has to be stored in a county-level server, etc.. must be decentralized/federated, no centralized service..

I hope people read this. This includes a great breakdown of the proposed legislation in Massachusetts which includes guard rails for data use and collection, and importantly limits the use of information collected by traffic cameras for anything but enforcement.
