I find it impressive that Microsoft has managed to enshittify passwords. I haven't had a smooth login experience with them in YEARS, and they even managed to screw up using my Yubikey after forcing a Passkey on me so I can play MINECRAFT I need to get another nvme so I can dualboot linux already.

My favorite thing about Vancian Casting is incendiary posts decrying it as clunky and frustrating before pitching something even clunkier and more frustrating as a replacement I also find criticism of it usually boils down to either "I liked how 5e did it" or "I don't like reading spells" #ttrpg
