Laura Stacey is in the lineup today for the Montreal Victoire. It hasn't even been 48 hours since Stacey went down in some considerable pain in Game 1 of the Walter Cup final. She later returned for overtime. #pwhl

There’s no doubt that today is a big game for the Ottawa Charge here in Laval. How can they overcome the Game 1 heartbreak? Here are some keys for success for @ottawacitizen.com : ottawacitizen.com/sports/hocke...
How can the Ottawa Charge bounce back from Game 1 heartbreaker in PWHL final?
The puck drops for Game 2 of the PWHL final against the Montreal Victoire at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Place Bell in Laval, Que.

Montreal has supported women’s hockey since the Victoire was announced, which is why it was a bit jarring to see Place Bell half-empty on Thursday night. Why? Well, it was also Habs game night. For @ottawacitizen.com : ottawacitizen.com/sports/hocke...
Montreal showed up for women’s hockey all season. So why was Game 1 of the PWHL final half-empty?
Just 5,062 fans were in attendance for Game 1 of the Walter Cup final at Place Bell in Laval, Que.

Let’s look at some bright sides ahead of today’s game: the Charge has scored first in every single game this postseason. Here’s why that’s a key ingredient for success. For @ottawacitizen.com : ottawacitizen.com/sports/hocke...
Why scoring first really matters for the Ottawa Charge in PWHL final
Charge has had incredible success when scoring the game's first goal in the PWHL playoffs, despite Thursday's loss to Montreal. Read more.

And we're off to OT. Shouldn't come as any surprise given these two teams' history in the postseason. But what a way for Montreal to tie things up with just three seconds left.
And just like that, Ottawa has the lead again as Rebecca Leslie gets her second of the night with just four minutes to go. Wow, that was a beautiful 2-on-1 play by Leslie to dance around the defender in front and get Desbiens moving.
The noise level at Place Bell tonight might be louder than I’ve ever heard at a Charge game. It’s difficult to hear yourself think as Montreal ties this game at one. It’s hard not to notice the empty seats on either end, but this crowd is mighty. @ottawacitizen.com
Ottawa is on the board and has taken the lead in this game with about four minutes to go in the second, thanks to Rebecca Leslie. Fun fact, in last year's semifinal between Montreal and Ottawa, the team to score the first goal went on to win all four games.
In case it's not coming across on TV for those of you watching from home, this building is LOUD and full of Montreal Victoire fans. Good to see the odd Charge fan, though I expect we'll see much more on Saturday.
Warmups are underway here in Laval — and yes, surprise! I’m here in enemy territory. The puck drops soon on this all-Canadian PWHL final. Follow along for coverage and updates during Games 1 and 2 for @ottawacitizen.com
