The technology is new, but the tactic of manufacturing fake Indigenous personas to crowd out real Indigenous people is as old as colonialism itself. It is, however, something this technology is especially suited to—appropriation, decontextualization, and deceptive façades are the métier of ‘AI’.

We can take this further: commutativity should be defined such that an operator − is commutative iff for all values of b and p, b − p = q − d.

hot take but non-commutative operators should be asymmetric, and symmetric operators should be commutative. The minus sign (-) should be the absolute difference between two numbers, and the signed difference should be something like a ⥞ b (think of it as b stabbing a for b damage)

1. I guess I’ve never actually *visited* Oshawa, although I’ve passed through it any number of times. (I mean, if you stop somewhere along the 401 between Toronto and Kingston, it’s gonna be the at Big Apple in Cramahe, right?) 2. The way Nova Scotia does municipalities makes it really hard to say!
