I went to see if she was going to finally go official with her endorsement of weapons-selling hate sites, and sure enough... If you support J.K. Rowling financially, you are now LITERALLY funding anti-trans hate and violence. This is not hyperbole. Reduxx really were selling illegal weapons.

Rowling is a regular promoter of Reduxx, the anti-trans propaganda site guilty of selling and exporting illegal weapons via their Patreon, for which they were suspended from the platform. As well as regularly reposting their articles, she has said of them that “The Reduxx archive is going to be an invaluable resource once the 'nobody was really hurt' guys start writing their opinion pieces” and “It’s fair to say I love them.” Reduxx were offering brass knuckles as a Patreon reward, which they described as "A 'Keychain'" (their quotes) while saying "We can't tell you what this is for. Use your imagination... a heavy duty industrial clamp and keychain... One self-defence kitty". Genevieve Gluck is on record as saying that Anna Slatz shipped the weapons from Canada to "donors in the US and Canada". The Criminal Code of Canada classifies brass knuckles and similar devices as prohibited weapons. Possessing, manufacturing, or selling such items is a criminal offense and can lead to severe penalties, including imprisonment for up to five years. They are legally defined as: "The device known as ‘Brass Knuckles’ and any similar device consisting of a band of metal with one or more finger holes designed to fit over the fingers of the hand.”
