Ok. So I just saw Forgotten Island. I have never seen a movie so perfectly capture what it felt like to be at those early fur cons.
The GFM is up now. With my mom in police custody & on ICE hold despite being in the US for nearly 3 decades, this puts me & my family in a very tough spot If you can, I ask y'all to send some love & support our way to help us fight for our mom's freedom from this unjust system. gofund.me/5506965b6
ChocoMingo 🦩 #RaysUp@chocomingo.bsky.social · 3w agoHi everyone. I have some important & brutal news to share, a double-whammy at that. First, my mom was just detained by and I worry she may have an ICE hold. Physically, she is fine & I'll set up a GFM for her soon In the meantime, feel free to send support our way though Ko-fi ko-fi.com/chocomingo
Been a lot of this lately. I know it's just bad brain juices and not real, but it's a struggle. I do have some confirmation bias since in the past this feeling proved accurate, which makes ignoring it harder.

Mood has been blah all weekend. I'm sure part of that is some form of ASC fomo, but a lot is just disappointment.
I finally got myself a kigu. It's a feralygatr and it's so dumb I love it.
Out seeing Starbomb tonight. Thought I was getting here early and the line is around the block.
4th attempt to see Kream live, and it finally worked out. Front and center on the rail for Liquid Lab: Vancouver. Absolutely a highlight to my year. What an amazing show 🔥
