I recently announced I was ready to try writing a novel again. I said this out loud to other people. Naturally, I haven't been able to stop writing new short stories since then. So, new writing hack?

I've been going to a lot of in-person crafty/stitchy events in the last year and a half and one thing I have discovered is that if you love doing one creative thing, you probably love doing lots of creative things. I'm excited about this melding of two of my great loves!

"you run run run so fast, and you see that cottage with the glowing windows and the curl of smoke from the chimney" Brilliant breathless prose from @ddgwriter.bsky.social; love how this connects with the fairytale and how the title hangs over the piece
