It would be like a million times more fun if you’re there!” Suddenly Bakugou is faced with, somehow, an even brighter smile with eyes that are practically bursting with stars. And fuck, does it make him weak in the knees. “Please, Bakugou! I promise you’ll have a blast!”

Just the way this pretty guy is staring at him, looking up at him like Bakugou’s someone to be adored and praised and treasured. Like he’s the key to some unsolved puzzle or locked box.

How could he not say yes?

“F-fine,” Bakugou grumbles, face turned down towards his chest, crossing his arms to hide his quickened breaths, “I better not regret it though, Shitty Hair.”

OR

Bakugou hates his job, but the sight of a cute redhead makes it a little bit better.

An excerpt from "kept track of our bygone days":

Eijirou looked at Katsuki and saw a boy, and in turn, Katsuki cut his bleeding heart out with shaky hands and offered it up to him on a golden platter.

(He doesn't know how to love otherwise. Bakugou Katsuki never does anything in halves.)

Love is selfish. Love demands and takes, and love only knows how to want with yawning entirety and nothing less. But love is also Eijirou seeing a boy instead of a spitfire villain. Love is Eijirou stretching his hand out for Katsuki to grasp. Love is Eijirou sharing a bag of snacks with Katsuki, when the moon comes out. Love is Eijirou smiling at him, and telling him he's worth it.

An excerpt from "sweet on you":

He pauses, takes the moment to lick his lips and let the night air embolden him.

"Eijirou," he continues, wanting to scream at the way Kirishima--Eijirou's eyes widen and his pupils blow wide.

"Eijirou, you know I'm sweet on you," Katsuki says, and they both feel the way his heart speeds up. It still thumps steady, even at the hurried pace. He lets out a breath that's more affection than air at the way Eijirou has just barely pressed his fingertips harder into the cotton of his shirt.

Katsuki leans down, an inch closer and an eternity away. "Are you sweet on me?"
