A Great skua keeping lookout from a ruined cleit. These birds were badly hit by avian flu and we are now part of a project to look at their immunity.
Advent window 4 - In the summer months the St Kilda wren can be heard all over the archipelago.
Advent window 3 - Gannets are the biggest seabird in the UK with a wingspan of 2m. The island of Boreray is one of the biggest gannet colonies in the world. Every year the St Kildans collected the fat fledglings or guga.
