Had a conversation in a DDR discord about DDR misic and I felt alienated with my opinions on rhythm game music as a whole. Trying to explain my position as a musician and how much I appreciate the technical side of the music because of it, but it felt like very few people wanted to listen.

Glitch2 is a plugin that I use every so often, but still is such an intuitive and fun tool to use. I recommend picking it up not specifically for the deal, but in this creator's memory. You might even get more mileage out of it then you think. Rest in Peace..

glitch2 is free now in memory of its recently passed creator, who i knew of as dblue :( rip to an absolute legend, I've used the original dblue glitch in like half of my music over the years; this is a must-have tbh cdm.link/remembering-...

Sort of a topic diversion that's related to this thread that I just thought of now: I believe that music critique would be a lot more effective when you focus more on things that you like rather than what's "objectively right or wrong."

Music is such a fascinating medium for me because in my eyes, I believe that it both encompasses being extremely hard to critique, and if you DO feel the need to critique it, it would hard to listen to anyone who isn't experienced in performing or producing it.
