finally switched to navidrome, this is pretty good. surprisingly effortless to set up (saying this as a guy who already has a home server and knows how to use docker lol)

re: the suno hack story going around. fuck suno, etc, but do you realize the "theft" in question is web scraping. the article quotes the RIAA as saying it's devious and illegal to download a YouTube video. you do not want them to win this, I fucking promise. that is not a good world for artists

no one cares about this except for me but i just found out that Simon Stockhausen's (ambient/newage/progtronic musician i like a lot) discography is much much bigger than I thought it was cause he makes synth patches and each bundle has like an album's worth of demo tracks

rewatched Happiness (todd solondz) and it clicked this time to the degree i would say i liked it but i definitely think it's bottom-half solondz for sure. very lopsided, like half of the stories are kinda aimless and i think everyone only remembers phillip seymour hoffman and the therapist dad
