I saw some gorgeous nature and added two birds to the life list last weekend! (White-crowned sparrow and evening grosbeak!)
The first Palm Warbler I've seen this Fall. These birds wag their tails, which can be quite helpful in identifying them.

A rainy day Great Egret. I believe this is the same bird that likes to hang out on the railing at times. Although having multiple birds that like to chill on the boardwalk would be pretty cool too.

We saw the Shaun the sheep movie (very cute!) and the theater had a little clay thing so you could make your own sheep so I had to make Timmy
Cedar Waxwings have a diet of mainly berries and fruit – I didn't see any waxwings go after the pears in the pear tree, probably too big – but they'll hunt down insects in the warmer weather. This past weekend I watched quite a few juvenile Cedar Waxwings on the hunt.
Phew the increase in window strikes with fall migration isn’t unexpected but I’ve been seeing soooo many, and so many of them have been ovenbirds!
