This is highly skilled work because you need to know the vines and terroir. I interviewed vintners a few years ago and they all talked about welcoming the same workers back year after year.

Many areas including NY, WI and MI have extremely poor air quality due to wildfire smoke. While public health agencies advise people to stay indoors and avoid strenuous activity, farm workers are out working in these conditions. 1/

Text: PECO STRIKE OVER: IBEW Local 614 Declares Victory with Historic Contract IBEW Local 614 wins pensions, retirement medical, and wage increases for all members after first strike in PECO's 145-year history PHILADELPHIA - IBEW Local 614 celebrated a historic contract victory Monday night, ending a three day work stoppage by 1600 workers, the first in PECO's 145-year history. IBEW Local 614 won all of their major contract priorities: • Cash balance pension plans for all members. • Full retirement medical coverage for all members. • Significant general wage increases for all Text: “Tonight, we declare victory. IBEW Local 614 is ending our strike with a historic win and a landmark contract.
