IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳 Just turned 40!
It's heading in the right direction, but sadly after trying it out there's still a few minor grievances I have with some of the interaction design that makes it super frustrating to use if you've used to ANY other audio editors. I wish they would've have implemented TWO small things:
Audacity 4.0 Open-Source Audio Editor Officially Released, Here’s What’s New 9to5linux.com/audacity-4-0... #OpenSource #Linux
Looking for a female VA to play the role of a psychiatrist for an audio log in my game! About 130 words for this instance, will need more in the future! #voiceacting #indiegame #gamedev #darkrooms
my little vulkan rendering experiment has turned into me making my own game engine. oops.
added Box3D by @erincatto.bsky.social to my retro game engine and it seems to work! 💃
It's actually crazy how good the installation process is for Linux distros jeez
Trying out emulating some retro rendering styles in my custom rendering engine. Just implemented ps1 emulated vertex imprecisions, dithering, down-sampling, and limited color palette. Also got post-processing effects like bloom, vignette, grain, and chromatic aberration working.
by far the hardest thing I've implemented in my vulkan rendering engine so far has been shadow mapping. It's so incredibly annoying to troubleshoot this stuff.
I'll never not get confused on how to calculate vertex tangents into world space. Anyways my engine now supports normal maps.
I've been meaning to learn the Vulkan rendering API for a long time and today I finally got something working!

I literally made the models to the left and I have no idea what he's talking about
Quite the upgrade! #gamedev #indiegame #darkrooms
It's so funny to me how the referees don't step in to stop the fight, but then like a few minutes later are like: ALRIGHT BREAK IT UP, BREAK IT UP!

Eevee's had a rough couple of days, so gotta give her some extra cuddles
I think it's hilarious how terrified game devs are of releasing anything in November.
