Going through some olf folders and found these desktop wallpapers I made for the FULL TILT campaign.
Lettering should be part of the panel layout stage. Balloon placement should be roughed in as you design each panel. Placement at this stage will help with readability and narrative flow of the page, as a whole.

It's tough out here for creative people so please show them some love when you can. Reposting their work is a great way to get more eyes on it and turning others onto the stuff you dig.

I'm still in love with every page and panel in this book. I still can't believe I pulled an entire 307 page OGN off.
My next book will be handled the same way as FULL TILT. It will be crowdfunded and the print run will be limited to the number of people that pledged. So make sure to follow along as I make the book and be one of those wonderful people that backs it and makes it happen!
Akira has to be the most engaging first volume of any comic series I've ever read. Every panel is dynamic. The level of detail is incredible. Definitely one of those series I want to soak in every moment, but damn, it's so fast-paced, I fly through the pages. So immersive! #comicbooks #manga

As I write this new OGN, I’m getting excited about Al the cool stuff I’ll get to draw. It’s going to push me creatively as much as FULL TILT did.
I had a great meeting with editor, @thefictioncoach.bsky.social , concerning my new OGN. He is so good at drawing out story elements from me. I feel like the roadmap of my book just got a whole lot clearer!
