Thank you for kindly giving me the space to share a little bit of my research online! 😊 TLDR: gender matters as private automobility is deeply affective through gendered logics; a car-sharing service’s success also depends on how ‘good’ the experience feels against driving a privately owned car.

The PGR prizes for best postgraduate transport geography papers at the #RGSIBG25 go to Yi Fan Liu (first place), Vanessa Ternes and Lotte Luykx (runners up). They have each won £100 to spend on academic literature, thanks to Edward Elgar!

A very fruitful and meaningful piece with @sieunlee.bsky.social and Maryam Altaf! :) We also reflect on the importance of researcher self-care and offer some practical recommendations. 🫂

A paper I co-authored with @yifan-liu.bsky.social and Maryam Altaf is published in Area! We reflect on our experiences of ride-along methods to consider the situational risks that arise for researchers. It was a pleasure to work on this with my dear friends as a first publication of mine :)
