Very aware of a feeling of contentment watching #NUFC today. My 90 minutes watching them at the weekend is (hopefully) my happy place. Despite this summer, the sky didn't fall in and our soul is intact. New stars, new heroes and some old traditions too. Cheers lads & lasses #NUFC

I'm sometimes stunned at how the world (particularly men) have changed in my lifetime. At work we message each other and add little red hearts to notes, work and ideas we like. In football, adult men queue up for hugs from their coach.

They haven’t been relegated (unlike Villa) they’ve not pushed the wages to revenue limit (unlike Villa) and they’ve been in Europe a lot (unlike Villa). It takes time. Villa and Newcastle could do much worse than copying spurs.

Newcastle lost their manager, tonali. Gordon, guimares and bought in young potential and a manager with no top level experience so forgive me if I am not giving RDZ a free pass he should absolutely be doing better then this !
