The more I learn about Bayesian methods the more I find the benefits are really only important to other statisticians. That’s important for sure but for communicating with stakeholders I’m not sure it’s all that important for the added complexity

One of the hardest problems to solve is if a performance below expected value is due to variance or are you actually performing below expectations because of some other unknown variable you failed, or can’t, factor into your evaluation process. Unfortunately results matter

But the GOP has been ignoring the "rules" and norms for years now. What else can the Democrats do? The whole going-high-when-they-go-low thing sure as hell didn't work. This is just the way it works now.
