Full time UK based artist, working on ‘The Strange Case’ adapting Jekyll and Hyde! I also make loads of enamel pins 🌱 My shop, tip jar and other links are here :) (HE/HIM) https://blacksmoke1033.carrd.co/

I’m aware I have a lot of notifications here and I am very behind on Instagram messages, but I’m a bit unwell and if I spend an hour doing that then I won’t be well enough to cook or pack an order, so it’s all gonna have to wait

Dinomania made a video on IG saying he wanted to use real artists but opted for AI instead for a side project. He said he looked, ‘but it all came at a cost’. Using AI comes at a cost. There’s your thousands in lost revenue and supporter income from people and cons who don’t want you anymore

I got into a queer market that’s a multi day thing, but I’m scheduled at it for the NSFW 18+ evening (no other days) so I hope I’m surrounded by like whips and ropes and gay porn while I sell pins of my little fursona and stickers of my chickens

The film is written, directed, and co-stars Hitoshi Ozawa, a legendary Yakuza actor who is a villain in Yakuza 0, who got his fellow legends involved. This was his passion project inspired by one of his best friends, a trans woman, and he worked with the community for representative casting.

THE CLANS HEIR IS A TRANS WOMAN (2013) is like Steven Seagal decided to Write/Direct/Star in a love letter to his trans friends, but it looks and feels like every action movie he's made... except Hitoshi Ozawa is way way way way cooler than Seagal.

Debated talking about this in detail outside of Patreon, and I am also going to preface this strongly with: I do not want advice, I just want to talk. I have probably lost contact with my pin manufacturer, which means my ability to make more, or reprint old ones, is currently gone

Sometimes your friend takes you to a Michelin star restaurant, lovingly pays £170 for the most nothing forgettable lunch of all time for you, and then you bring him back to your back yard for a 4 pence cup of tea you unlovingly thrust at him and there’s chickens involved and it’s 10,000x better

Someone I know is about to have the worst week of his life and it’s very hard to know how I approach this situation because I need to communicate ‘I still exist, you know, but I’m not that helpful’ so I’ve mildly settled on sending a cabbage in the mail
