I spent 6 hours fixing a water splash animation in the Link to the Past PC port I'm making. I figured it out and its a bug that was in the original. Adding Widescreen revealed it. So cool I fixed a 35 year old bug. What is even cooler is the splash animation has the full frames no one saw until now.

Rewriting the entire widescreen support for the PC port for Zelda A Link to the Past. This is how the game handles going from widescreen to a 4:3 room and vice versa. It turned out better than I thought. It's 100% smooth not sure why screen capture is doing. My guess is screen cap went to happy hour

I was curious how much the upgrade to the Witcher 3 Remastered was going to be. Turns out I got it for free. I am shocked but also extremely happy a game company still does the right thing.

So playing Nighthawks by @wadjeteyegames.com and I have to say its amazing game. Please pick it up. I am so happy I made a Physical Edition. I am giving all the devs a copy as well. They worked hard on this game and it shows. Also not sponsored I love supporting Indies that make great games!

For Zelda’s 40th anniversary, I ported snesrev/zelda3 from C to Zig + SDL3 and started building the A Link to the Past PC release I always wanted with modern PC features, randomizer tools, modding support, and eventually a full PC Big Box.

I have to give huge thanks to @drguillotine.bsky.social for working with me to make the Colossal Collectors Editions and its been a real good collaboration. Just accepting each others ideas and working together made it all possible. More Collectors Editions are shipping out in cool shipping boxes.

Something I learned from the decompilation and C port of Zelda Alttp is that if you don't use any of Nintendo's assets. I wrote a program to pull the data quick from a ROM you just drag and drop on the window. Trying to make it easy to extract the assets.

Hmm this is interesting. Could it be that I might keeping a secret about a upgraded PC port? Naa not me 😀 This turned out to be a long project as I wanted to make the PC Big Box of this. Now its turning into a rewrite and turning into a big collectors edition.

“He has gone completely over the top, and I’m blown away by what he’s building.” — Ken Williams, Co-founder of Sierra On-Line This being said about me is an honor.

Star Trek TNG A Final Unity is now working in RetroWeb. This game is fully voiced by the actors and is a great point and click adventure. Also one of the few DOS games that supported 65,000 colors. Took some time to get this working and playable in a web browser. One of my fav DOS and ST games.
