I.C.E. agents at airports has nothing to do with long lines. They are not there to help with that. They're not even there to curb illegal immigration. It's all to do with normalizing the presence of militarized law enforcement in every aspect of day to day life; airports aren't where it ends.

At some point, it was agreed among nations that there was an established order on how certain situations would be handled. Currently, there is an attack on that order. It might be about oil and resources. Words like "dictator" and "terrorist" get tossed around. Eventually, it's bigger than that.
