🎄 Day 21 of our #Shropshire advent calendar is a frosty morning near Five Turnings, in the Redlake Valley. I was standing on the county's ‘other’ Caradoc, near Chapel Lawn, and it was so cold that the water in my bottle had started to freeze. A beautiful day - and well worth the cold conditions. ⛄
Great to be with the lovely people of St Laurence, Catford, today. Gaudete!
Had a fantastic morning with the amazing community at Demelza’s Hospice for Children in Eltham. Such remarkable children and parents, and such gifted staff. This place is a treasure.
I loved this book and it is beautifully read by the author as an audio book too. Insightful, funny, sad, hopeful.

Cathedral Sleep-Out now over, the sausage sandwiches and coffee finishing a remarkable few hours together to raise money for the Robes Project’s work with those without a home. Thanks to the brilliant Rob Rinder for being with us and to our Mayor and MP and the South London Jazz Orchestra.
And now a Cathedral full of people of all ages making blankets for the homeless in south London. The Salvation Army band is playing and, in the words of one young woman, it’s such a ‘wholesome day’
