🧵Regarding logging in to Clearsky: This is a test, for now, to see the viability of our features. We do not have access to your password or use your personal information, as you will be logging in through bsky. Features are still available without logging in, premium features are behind the log in.

We are committed to the principle of least privilege. In light of the recent information and discussion, once the Bluesky documentation and implementation is complete for OAuth permissions, we will change to the appropriate least permissive set of permissions. Stay tuned. #Clearsky

for the record, completely agree that clarifying these dx gaps (and promoting de facto community solutions) is exactly what I/we should be doing with the docs, I just wasn’t rushing to make OAuth recs while the scopes stuff firms up. I think we can absolutely improve docs here in the next ~3 weeks.
