In one of my longest running games, the gods died trying to patch the hole their mother ripped in their sphere after going batshit fucking an elder god. People are drawn to worshipping the domains of the former gods, occasionally shards of divinity form consciousness. It was a fun setting.

#MythAugust 16 What's the motivation for those who worship your deities/spirits? Do they genuinely love & admire them? Is it in an effort to avoid punishment or misfortune? Does their deity give them a special power? As usual, interpret the question however makes the most sense for you!

#MythAugust prompt for Aug 16:
Why do people worship these deities? Is it out of love? Fear? Do they hope to gain something from their worship?
