This article highlights the 'postcode lottery' - uneven impact - of these new transphobic policies. That was the case for S28 also. It's uneven because some are finding the agency to push back. We all have a responsibility to do this in the spheres in which we have leverage and influence.

The EHRC guidance does not apply to workplaces, and trans people are not criminalised for using any toilet in the UK. But the whole point of this - as with Section 28 back in the 1980s - is to intimidate people. Don't give into that fear.
