NIH funding drives research that keeps working families healthy, fuels local economies, & establishes the US as a world leader in medical breakthroughs - like the research @uaw2478.bsky.social member Alex VW does at Caltech, developing new vaccines that could completely block respiratory infections

Last week, members of Local 872, @uaw2478.bsky.social, and @uaw4811.bsky.social helped pass a strong moratorium on evictions for those affected by the LA fires, overcoming landlord opposition. This win is critical step towards an equitable recovery for those impacted by the fires.
