A sweet doodle comm I did with @nellodies.bsky.social ! In the early stages of planning a character study fic for Grusha, I decided I wanted to create & include an original character to ship with him, which gave rise to Calan. I've been developing my thoughts and plans for both of them in parallel.

Grusha (from Pokemon Scarlet/Violet) (left) walks hand in hand with Calan (OC) (right). The art was hand drawn with pen and paper; it's black and white. Grusha walks with a cane to assist his balance; one result of a past snowboarding accident. Calan looks towards Grusha, caught up yapping about something or other, while Grusha partially return his eye contact. They both have a light blush.

Last year I commissioned a reference sheet for one of my OCs, Calan (from @alolanboy.bsky.social; thank you!). Since then, I have a bit more to share about him, so I'll post some more in the following days. He's based in the Pokémon universe, hailing from somewhere in Galar.
