"your game is just glorified goblin dress-up" *clears throat* okay yeah it is

Tangent: Friction in games has been dying. Difficulty alongside it, and overcoming difficulty is one of the greatest feelings in video games. I played through Sly 1 recently, and the Time Trials are insanely difficult. I attempted the first time trial for literally 30 minutes until I got it. 1/2
I find it funny when people talk about how games are this art form that can make you feel emotions, but then you bring up something like wanting more games to have timers & people will say its bad design "because it makes me anxious" So emotions only allowed through story, not gameplay. Got it lol.

seeing if people read my patch notes on the playtest, dont tell em...

I found out what this was btw Apparently if you turn tick off on a CharacterMovementComponent in unreal It stores the delta time until next time it ticks again Which is something I started doing on NPCs when i enter the shop, so they're all trying to move to 0,0,0 to make up for lost time
In my 7 years of making indie games, i think this is legitimately the most insane bug ive ever found in any of my games

The only thing that stops big business is not self regulation. Never has. Too bad the chances of our governments regulating this shit is essentially 0.0%
“A senior executive at Microsoft said A.I. systems built on the work of others will be seen as ‘an astonishing theft of unprecedented proportions’ and possibly the greatest robbery of labor in human history, according to court documents unredacted Thursday in an ongoing Manhattan lawsuit.”
