My dog is currently dreaming that she's running, and I wish she could have that forever

Yesterday my dog became extremely passive, and her eyes were practically glued shut. After we went on our last walk for the day, she basically sat down and didn't get up. I had to carry her to her bed. I was afraid she'd pass by morning. But she's still breathing, just lethargic and barely moving 😢

Today's edits: cut 2k words, refined about 6k. All that's left is the tail end of the battle, where it's emotionally heaviest. Which leads into a significant reveal almost immediately after. Things look pretty lean so far, though I may add about 500 words to liven up a couple characters.

I'm seeing this trend of YouTubers responding to ignorant commenters quite a lot recently. I mean, it seems like the algo is pushing this trend. Which imo is hilarious, but also kind of frustrating at seeing how many wilfully ignorant people are out there.

Have been sleeping really poorly the past few months. Most of it is because I'm having to care for my dog. Been heading to sleep around midnight to walk her, so she isn't straining in the mornings (or causing accidents). Also been waking up at 2 and 4 am, just to check on her. Shit is exhausting
