Utah has been very active in banning books of late, but some booksellers and organizations are fighting back by giving away copies of the banned books. Our ultimate goal it to make sure everyone has access to the books they need & there are many different ways to help do that.
Frustrated with book bans, these Utah bookstores now hand out free copies of titles pulled from public schools
The bookstores teamed up Utah’s LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce on the giveaways, which they say they won’t stop until the state stops banning books.
