Eid Mubarak to friends who celebrate. 🧕🌙

Thanks Hadassah Magazine for the Oy, Santa! shout out. There’s still time to pick up any of these holiday books. Hanukkah starts Wednesday night…and then you have EIGHT more days. #hanukkah #latkes #interfaith #diversity #kidlit #jewish @lernerbooks.bsky.social

Honored Spirituality & Practice saw the depth of religious understanding I tried to imbue in Oy, Santa! And happy they recognized the marvelous Gila Von Meissner whose art “gives the book extra sparkling touches.” Grateful. ❤️@lernerbooks.bsky.social www.spiritualityandpractice.com/book-reviews...

Oy, Santa! | Review | Spirituality & Practice

A witty exchange of letters between a Jewish boy and Santa Claus that promotes religious understanding.

Author @joyceschriebman.bsky.social visited our 1st grade class, so read this book on repeat. My kiddos absolutely adored all the cats and their sneaky antics. Plus, such a fun and accessible way to learn about Hanukkah traditions along with the art of letter writing. A total winner! #EduSky

Thanks, Children's Bookwatch! 💖 "...imaginative, original, and fun...especially and unreservedly recommended for family, daycare center, preschool, elementary school, and community library Jewish Holiday/"https:// www.midwestbookreview.com/cbw/oct_24.htm#judaic #Hanukkah #Diversity #Christmas

Delighted to share that my little book, Oy, Santa! or There's a Latke to Learn about Hanukkah, received a starred review from School Library Journal! Grateful for all the help along the way. #Hanukkah #Diversity #Interfaith www.slj.com/review/oy-sa...

Grateful to Publisher's Weekly for putting OY, SANTA! on their Jewish Holiday Books for Children! Honored to share space with Barbara Kimmel (Hanukkah Hippity Hop) and Barbara Bietz, & June Sobel (Challah, Challah for You and Me.) Read the full PW review here www.publishersweekly.com/9781951365226

The circle of life.

I'm not a Luddite or technophobe. I just know that after 466 years the thing on the left can be read fine. The thing top-right is 15 years old & uses tech that already no longer comes standard on computers. And the 30-yr-old thing bottom-right needs specialized antique hardware & software to read.
