One of my favorite things about the new @bomb.sh router is how well it scales. It doesn't matter if you have single entry point or a hundred.
our new CLI router supports standard schema and takes lots of inspiration from HTTP. read all about it the blog!
👀 Introduce pulls.review Categorize changes in Pull Requests into logical groups, with a summary. Helps you do reviews more efficiently by focusing on what matters. Everything runs in your browser. With opt-in GitHub userscript, GitHub Actions, or CLI for local git changes!

i'm sold on upm, gonna start using it 👀
upm does win on cold! raw.githubusercontent.com/unjs/upm/mai... Also in warm at least in limited benchs raw.githubusercontent.com/unjs/upm/mai... We really don’t need more size to be faster. Actually little warm startup cost is because Node has to bootstrap ~50MB logic
is this the next step? optimizing ai engineering instead of compile time?
Waiting for two agents to fuzz and fix your code feels like a new type of long compile step.

jumping on the opus 5.5 video bandwagon with a @bomb.sh promo this was a one-shot prompt and it pulled that sick logo animation out of thin air 🫠

Today we're launching ai-policy.dev! A collaboration of me, @danielroe.dev and @matteogabriele.npmx.social - this provides a few human curated AI contribution policies you can choose from. Our hope is that this will help you better define your stance and what kind of contributions you accept 🙏
built a claude code plugin around typesafe's jev, the new model that returns probabilities instead of prose jev-shadow asks it 5 hazard questions about every command claude proposes and logs the answers next to what claude code's own classifier decided. zero latency, changes nothing
GitHub - dreyfus92/jev-shadow: claude code plugin that measures jev before trusting it: background verdicts, joined with the classifier's real denials, and a report

understanding is the one part of software that still runs at human speed. that's not a bottleneck. that's where we're still needed. i wrote about why open source gets to choose its own pace.
we need time to assimilate
the reason behind one sort function got lost in a rewrite, and a tarball came out nine times bigger. on comprehension debt, peter naur, and why open source should slow down.

naur said it in 1985, the real product of programming is the theory that forms in the minds of the people who built it. code is just a lossy artifact of that theory. ai made code cheap. it did nothing for theory. we're shipping artifacts faster than anyone can rebuild what they mean.
sometimes just disconnecting for a bit from everything helps truly, we're so back 🙂↔️
🥳
Not all heroes wear capes... at least the @e18e.dev team doesn't. They’re on a mission to make the JS ecosystem lighter and faster. So we’re donating to them as part of our OSS donation program. They've already reduced node_modules size and made Node.js tooling much faster, and we appreciate it!
