Another reminder that there is no inherently morally superior demographic. If you're gay & misogynistic, you're not less shitty than a straight misogynist, & I'd argue you're actually *worse,* because you *should* have some empathy for people in other historically marginalized demographics.

Over the last few months, life has thrown far more at me than I can possibly process. Good, bad, painful, joyful, it's all mixed up & I find myself crying when I should be happy or laughing when all I want to do is crawl into bed for a month.

I'll make the opposite argument: That giving people in poor countries the opportunity to fully develop their potential is the best investment. It is horrific when you think of how many potentially world-changing scientists, artists, engineers, doctors, etc., there are who aren't even taught to read.
