Milan Knizak - broken music composition 1979 https://youtu.be/88ONydyRX7c Recorded in the late 60s, as I understand. A series of recordings made of destroyed and modified records. Sad to hear that he passed away yesterday.
RIP Bill Oddie. I spoke to him on the phone once, working in TicketMaster call centre, when he was buying some tickets for some jazz gigs.
Great to see London's annual Trans+ Pride march get 150,000 people attending. A big increase on last year, and significantly more than the far right wankers who made headlines for numbers last year.
Very close to finishing this remix - up to export 6 now. Multiple listens on different systems between each. Minor corrections really. Could go on forever though.
Wahey, venue confirmed. NOISE TABLE is go. 3 dates booked from September.
Neighbours playing endless AI slop versions of "Happy Birthday" for their kid in the paddling pool.
Our climbing wall is hosting various professional climbers today, including Alex Honold. Should be interesting to see how their skills translate onto routes and moves that I'm familiar with.
Listening to an album on headphones with hard-panned instruments, so I've switched my phone to play mono.

Did a bit of my 'working from home' at the local library this afternoon. Sitting in the quiet study area replying to a few emails. Browsed the fiction section on my way out and borrowed a book.
Quick lie down in the park for my evening meditation today.

Someone in one of the nearby flats plays continuous muzak of a sort - it's slightly new age, indeterminate synthesized instruments but generally major key, slow paced, uplifting. Sometimes more discernible, other times on the threshold of hearing over the bed of traffic noise, chatter and […]

A collaboration I would really like to hear: The Necks with Tomorrow Comes The Harvest.
Back home to water dripping through the bathroom and kitchen ceilings from the flat above. No answer from them, of course. Not sure what else to do.
