Complicated gig, this, playing out music to an artist's film installation - multiple video feeds, projections, voice actors, video score, pre-recorded audio and live audio. Basically a 48hr sound check before go time. We will kick off the actual show in almost exactly 24hrs time.

Top tip for field recordings, which I mostly remember to do now: speak out loud your location, date, and what you are recording when you hit record. Really helps when organising the recordings later on (to remember what the particulars were and why you were recording that specific noise).

Picked up a boxed 3xLP version of Mala - Mirrors (2016) album. Really enjoying listening, it's up there with Mala in Cuba. The box came with a CD and DL code - actually playing the CD rather than the vinyl as can't be bothered changing sides so often.
