Digital art has been bumming me out cuz of ai… but I don’t really know what my traditional illustrations would look like anymore, it’s been a really long time. I wanna make things with more of a human touch!

Hmm I’m getting some new paper today, I wanna draw some fanart.. maybe a superhero?? Or video game like Sonic or something. Who should I draw!?

I really wanna do some alt covers again, it’s been a while 👀 I think this is the last one I did which was too long ago

I’m really fortunate that my day job is four days a week. I still do overwork and burn myself out, but I try to be mindful and pace myself. If possible I’ll trade off days where I’m working more casually and days where I’m grinding to get lots done.

Triple Dream Comics will be at the Cartoon Art Museum March 15th 3pm-5pm for a signing and meet & greet for Will Eisner week! We’ll be signing with @nadinetakvorian.bsky.social and @shaenon.bsky.social. We’ve all had books come out recently so come see em! The museum is at 781 Beach Street in SF 💕

I spoke at my old middle/high school over my bday week. It was equally terrifying and awesome. Some students gave me presents at the end which definitely did not make me cry at all 😭

I need all artists to know that using 3D models in your art is not cheating. Those free-to-use 3D models are literally there to make your life easier. Stop being so hard on yourself and just trace that 3D object. You don't need to be able to perfectly draw every object ever from memory!!
