Presenting a new illustration by Kuroimori to celebrate FFXIV's launch on the Nintendo Switch™ 2! ✨ A very warm welcome to all the new Warriors of Light starting their journey in Eorzea 🌱❤️

An illustration of G'raha Tia from Final Fantasy 14 Online sitting in front of old tomes while holding a handheld gaming device and smiling at the viewer. A moogle looks over his shoulder from behind at the device. Art by Kuroimori.

I hate saying this, but please be naturally skeptical of any "recomp" project you see. When an article comes out saying, *insert classic game here* is now playable on PC!!" assume it's vibe coded AI crap. Projects like that take an absurd amount of time/effort to be done well by actual programmers!!

Kotaku parading that garbage "recompilation" Generation 1 Pokémon project is genuinely upsetting. I was hoping the communities would reject vibe coded garbage, but these people are now intentionally hiding the usage and even lying that it's hand-written to peddle their slop onto others.

I finally finished the painting and I’m really happy with the result. I hope my bestie will be excited to find the two of them under the Christmas tree. Acrylic paint, 24×34 cm

#Taion and #Eunie are kissing beneath a Saffronia tree. He’s holding his jacket over their heads to protect them from the rain.
The painting is done in acrylic.
