Today I have consciously uncoupled from Spotify. Should have done this a good while ago. I have moved streaming service to Tidal. I've not done any due diligance, but I hope they are not wanging money into AI weapons research/systems. TBC. Anyway new streaming service, new slate.

The Joboxers just on TotP on BBC4. First band I ever saw live, as support for Madness in 1983. 42 years of gigging. Crikey. Anyway never occurred to me watching them wang about on the telly now how much stylistically they were an influence me. Had thought it was more the Mondays and 'Loose Fit'.

It's not going to be my Album of the Year, as it was only out on Monday, but do yourself a favour and point your ears towards the Hann album, Forever at a Glance. It's just lovely pop music.
