there’s so much that you get from visiting a museum or deep diving into history and philosophy books. beyond just the answers you were looking for. you get little bits of transformation that stick with you, that you don’t even notice. seeds that sprout years later.

I’ve been screening our documentary with organizing communities in the South. So far, the organizers mention data centers first at every single event. From racial justice orgs to old school activists who don’t usually think about tech policy. This has legs.

just watched a YT video that, using a beloved animated television show as the trojan horse, very subtly advocates for capitalism. and the use of the phrase “extractive institutions” to describe economic structures in opposition to the “inclusive” ones that describe capitalism. CIA vibes.

i’ll probably talk to them about it first. and even that might be more sharing how each of us being on time is important to us as workers collectively. and how being late negatively impacts everyone else. *if* it really does. and then asking if they’re good? or need to switch to a later shift?

Y’all, I got a question. Hypothetically you work with someone who is late almost daily for 3 months, more than 5 minutes. Every day that they are late, there’s an excuse. You catch their excuse as a lie one day. Do you report your coworker to your boss or myob?

okay yes i will rewatch Belly this sunday. first thing - Nas was a beautiful young man. attractive, too? yes. but he had such an angelic, baby face. simply a thing of beauty, and the chipped tooth was so charming on top of all the rest.
