It's important people understand this, but it's a red herring. Hypnosis is targeted because OPTICALLY it LOOKS like nonconsent, which makes it the perfect "fringe" target for conservatives to pressure payment processors to ban, with the ultimate goal of banning ALL porn, and queer/trans expression.

One common idea I see among TERFs is that, "Womanhood means nothing if we allow men to be called women." Something entirely forced upon you is a designation. When one can freely opt in or out, when it's a deliberate choice, it becomes a true Identity. I feel like that makes it so much more valuable
