Thank you to our lovely audience members for braving the heat to make it to our concert on Saturday evening! We were thrilled to give the first performance of a new, authoritative edition of Vivanco’s ‘lost’ Requiem, reconstructed from manuscript sources as a complete and unified work.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today! Above all, thanks to Tim Braithwaite, Artistic Director of Cappella Pratensis, for leading such an engaging open workshop on #Josquin. We had an interesting and fun day delving into the mentality of singers in the Renaissance, and learning new skills.

Tim Braithwaite speaks to a group of singers in St Stephen's church, Rochester Row, London as part of his workshop on Josquin.

This week we started rehearsals with the brilliant Sally Dunkley, who is guest conductor for our next concert on 5 April! 📅 Our programme will include Robert White’s powerful and emotional Lamentations for five voices, which we’ll perform in Sally’s own edition. More details coming soon...
