Travelling back from t Hamburg where I gave a lecture on #migration and #democracy. Western European history looks differently when seen from the persepctive of basic rights that have not been granted to migrants. Thanks to my colleagues from the Helmut-Schmidt-Universität for the great discussion!

The project is timely, it deals with transnational political movements in East and West. The consortium consists of the Centre Marc Bloch, the New Europe College Bucharest, the Democracy Institute of the Central European University and the Institute of Political Science at Universität Leipzig.
