Writer insight: When I’m in the developmental plot process developing a thriller, I need a timeline physically mapped out so I don’t create excess plot holes or mistakes while writing!
Having a bagelry in town is quintessential to morning life!
Epilogues? Love them, hate them, indifferent? Do they serve an actual purpose? For me, as a writer I’m indifferent. As long as it helps progress or tell the story and sometimes yeah it’s a necessary tool. As a reader, I just helped the author doesn’t f’ it up!
A new holiday short story is coming out soon! A Snowy Day in LA… a twilight zone type tale!
If you’re waiting for the perfect time, it’s going to be a while. Just do it. The first draft of everything is pretty rough.
There’s not much better than a nice warm scone perfectly crusted around the edges.
Word of advice… Never try to catch a dropped egg when you have another egg in your hand. It does not end well.
If you’re going to Vegas for Reader Nation then you must stop by and see…
My new cover for my upcoming short story… A Snowy Day In LA.
Excited to share the cover of my upcoming twilight type short story in the next couple of days! A Snowy Day In LA
Excited to say the first draft of the first book in my Marcus series is now finished!
I need help with a name for a new spy series I’m writing. Marcus ??? Needs to be fun, action oriented. Think James Bond, Jack Reacher, Jack Bower, Jason Bourne, Evan Smoke…
Sept 21st is Alzheimer’s awareness day. What are you doing for it? 💜
I'll be at the Orange County Children's book festival this Sunday! Stop on by and say hi! It's at Orange Coast College.
Alzheimer's Sucks. I used to do writing therapy when taking care of my mom. That writing therapy turned into a murder mystery novel about an Alz woman who remembered a cryptic word, but couldn't remember why. It was the last gift my mother gave me. 💜 Alzheimer's awareness day is Sept 21st.
I’m at that point of writing where I’m near the end and everything is starting to move faster and quicker. I know how it’s supposed to end and I’ve got to cross that bridge and connect those chapters to make it all work!
Spooky time of the year is here! Get warmed up with a Goosebumps for adults type fun horror/thriller! The Horror Writer’s Nightmare where the worlds greatest horror writer loses his muse—a demon—and everything goes off the rails
I’m getting close to the end of my Marcus story. Wrote another 3,000 words today. I can’t wait till I get to the editing where I get to integrate all my crazy humor! And of course, fix the grammar… grammar and I are not best friends!
“Fun read”!!! Such great feedback for The Horror Writer’s Nightmare! Thank you!
