Decided it has been entirely too long since I made something based on a random piece of art from the Rogue Trader rulebook. So I made a little epic scale tank thing inspired by that one bit of art of a tank with a weird scorpion tail turret (plus a slightly more normal looking variant).

Painted up the ‘Not a Kobold’ mini I got from Blightbones at Spru. Experimented with drybrushing blue over purple to get some interesting undertones. Pretty happy with it but definitely room for improvement. 61st mini painted in 2026.

Wasn't able to really do any STL stuff for the last month since I'd been indisposed in various ways. I am now back on my bullshit and starting to make headway on an expansion kit for the Aggro Ute. 7 new parts made so far. Many, many more to go!

Watching Soylent Green has lead me to reading Charlton Heston's Wikipedia page and it's wild how one person can be both 'a vocal civil rights advocate in the 60s' and 'a harbinger of the modern right-wing culture war'. He was like a Krusty doll that someone flipped the good/evil switch of in 1972.

Got back from the band getaway yesterday and was able to sit down an paint some minis for a first time in a while. Threw some movies on whilst I was doing it and let me tell you, Soylent Green, THX 1138, and Babylon 5: A Call to Arms was a very odd trio of things to watch whilst painting a Furby.
