We never were. There is nothing special about this the United States, and it is obviously vulnerable - moreso, in fact - the same bullshit that has taken down other places throughout the years. Exceptionalism is sociological and historical welding glasses - you can't see anything with them on.

This would close off the path outside Iranian waters the US encouraged ships to use during the MOU, then started bombing again to keep open.
I like that El-Sayed is lobbing several grenades at Rogers, not just one.

IMO, "Influencer" in the ten-years-ago sense was really a LOT of jobs (spokesmodel/copywriter/etc.) but now it's morphing, at least in part, into "intentionally annoying person" which feels worse.
Did Thanedar finally give up in MI-13? Anyone know?
Especially at the federal level, we need someone who knows about and will champion public health and evidence-based policy generally

It's remarkable that calling someone by their given name is going to be employed as a slur in this campaign just because that name is not "John Smith". That says a lot about how some people are.

The coolest words I've heard in talking to people out in the world about Michigan's primary election in the last week involve my politics being "confused" and "impractical". I actually think, if you ready my writing, my politics are pretty consistent and eminently practical.
MI-13 resident here. Thanedar is not well-liked, but he is unfortunately well-funded typically. I voted for McKinney though.

Almost every election in Michigan comes down to Wayne County, which is SLOW in reporting usually....

I mean, sociopaths generally cannot readily conceive of a situation where something doesn't go fantastically for them because they will do incredible gymnastics to make it seem that way if it objectively did not go well for them.
