I think the assumption by some that somehow the Jewish diaspora in the world, particularly in the US, and Israel are necessarily aligned is, in its own way, a bigoted assumption.

Iran and Oman have reportedly agreed that all ships transiting Hormuz have to go through an Iran-controlled corridor, and are finalizing tolls of 3, 5, or 7%. This would close off the path outside Iranian waters the US encouraged ships to use during the MOU, then started bombing again to keep open.

This is such an great feature (Rebecca is great!), and I've been thinking about it for a few days. IMO, "Influencer" in the ten-years-ago sense was really a LOT of jobs (spokesmodel/copywriter/etc.) but now it's morphing, at least in part, into "intentionally annoying person" which feels worse.

The coolest words I've heard in talking to people out in the world about Michigan's primary election in the last week involve my politics being "confused" and "impractical". I actually think, if you ready my writing, my politics are pretty consistent and eminently practical.
