Mermaids are so pretty. I should draw a mermaid Fila again. When I was a little kid I always wanted to be a mermaid... which does frame my interest in monster girls later in life more I suppose.
I watched the Lesbian Fish Sushi animation last night (The Lovers) and its been stuck in my head since then auufguhgh Seeing great art is so conflicting because on one hand it inspires me but on the other it intimidates me making me think 'dang I really need to try harder...'
Emma is the 'biggest' detective in Lumoise City! If you want proof of that, check out the art I uploaded this month over on the Patreon! www.patreon.com/veryfilthyth...

The YoV theme from June: Vio the Vault Filler Former resident of Vault 64, a vault meant to test an experimental food serum through Nuka Cola Boomin’ Berry, Vio ventured out in search of a cure to her condition before she joined the rest of her vault and became a splatter on the walls.
Filasi may be small but she can still be a filling meal...
I wonder why my brain finds character design to be such a stressful prospect 🤔
Old art but I need to bully this elf again at some point Maybe instead of a slime belly she can be a slime cube
Having questions about art but feeling like I have nowhere to get answers... Very frustrating.
Wait, I don't remember that scene playing out like this in Adventure Time, was I thinking about that one Chocolate Factory movie?🤔 🍎
Studying other artists and absorbing their art energy into myself. Soaking up the drawing skills like a sponge. A pliable, absorbent, and swelling sponge...
Whenever a 'regular' fat artist dabbles in drawing expansion related transformation stuff it always makes my day. Its always so much fun to see other people's take on this stuff.
I freak out if I go more than 1 day without doing serious drawing and that's probably not very healthy for me long term. But there's so much stuff I need to do, and even more stuff I WANT to do, that it feels crazy to not always be drawing in some capacity.
The cool thing about doing doodle pages is anytime I think 'wait that's too stupid I shouldn't draw that', I can remind myself its just a doodle and I can go crazy.
20 years in the making, I finally accomplished a goal little Fila had and got a fire cape in Runescape. I know for a lot of people its not hard to get these days, but I never thought I'd be able to come close to it. Doing it without a guide feels really good too!
Everytime I do a big comic project its a really tense experience. I always end up learning a lot though, so maybe I should push myself to try it more. They are very exhausting though...
I can't look at images of inflatable couches on google without getting unreasonably excited. Probably a sign that I should go to bed.
